We are looking for dedicated Furnace Operators to join our team and uphold our high-quality production standards.

• Operate and monitor industrial furnaces used in the heat treatment process.
• Load and unload materials according to specifications.
• Adjust furnace settings, temperature, and cycle times to meet production requirements.

• Visual Inspection:
  Examine plates to ensure quality standards are met.
• Measurement:
  Measure the dimensions of plates to determine the usable material before processing.

• Operate cranes as needed to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Mark appropriate information on parts according to the work order, ensuring accurate identification and traceability.
• Operate hand tools such as grinders and stamping machines to prepare and finish materials as specified.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, temperatures, and cycle data.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-temperature environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Operate forklift and crane.
• Banding of parts to a pallet.
• Operate hand tools such as grinders and stamping machines.
• Rolling mill and steel service center environment.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
