- Help run and maintain production on all lines and produce quality parts at acceptable production levels.
- Help and assist with coil changeovers.
- Remove and pack finished products off the line.
- Rework and repack parts as needed.
- Inspect parts visually or with a gauge.
- May carry out simple setup operations or troubleshooting.
- Keep accurate counts of parts processed.
- May be required to float into other production departments as needed
- Responsible for total quality of products and services and authorized to stop work when a nonconformance is noted.
- Perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.
- Observe established EHS regulations, procedures, and practices.

- Perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.
- Observe established EHS regulations, procedures, and practices.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
Skills And Abilities
- Able to read and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans.
- Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Must work effectively in a team.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant, or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
- Ability to visually inspect parts and use of hands to use measuring gauges.
- Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
