Production and Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a Direct Hire Production & Purchasing Coordinator to join a highly automated manufacturing facility with over 100 state-of-the-art machines producing precision automotive components. This position plays a key role in coordinating production schedules and supporting purchasing activities in a collaborative, team-driven environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Prepare and manage production schedules based on priorities and material availability.
• Communicate schedules and updates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Work closely with Purchasing and serve as a point of contact for assigned vendors.
• Research, recommend, and coordinate purchases for materials, MRO items, and inventory management systems (including Kanban).
• Collect, analyze, and summarize production and purchasing data to prepare management reports and identify trends.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (CIP, 5S, EMS, and safety programs).
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and accuracy in all communications and records.
• Support TS16949 and ISO
  14001 compliance and auditing processes.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in production control or purchasing.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, queries, and formulas required).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a TS16949 or ISO
  14001 environment preferred.
