Structural Project Manager

Job Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and internal leadership
• Lead project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Set and manage project goals across safety, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction
• Partner with Safety Director to enforce jobsite safety standards
• Conduct monthly project safety inspections
• Ensure quality control processes are implemented and followed
• Review proposals, drawings, and contracts to define execution strategy
• Develop and manage baseline schedules with Superintendents/Schedulers
• Continuously update schedules and adjust plans as conditions change
• Oversee job cost setup, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project buyout
• Manage project margins through cost tracking and variance analysis
• Review pay applications, change orders, and invoicing
• Identify, manage, and resolve claims with subcontractors and suppliers
• Mentor Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field staff
• Hold teams accountable for performance, safety, and hiring practices
• Foster collaboration and document best practices for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with insurance, labor, EEO, DBE, and tax regulations
• Direct timely project close-out and ensure full compensation is received

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
• 5+ years supervisory experience in construction
• Prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman strongly preferred
• Strong background in structural or heavy civil construction
• Railroad project experience is a plus (not mandatory)

Annual Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 USD
