Country Manager | Germany | Renewable Energy Development
An established European renewable energy development platform, supported by long‑term investment, is appointing a Country Manager for Germany to lead and scale its national project development activities.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for building and managing the German development organisation and delivering utility‑scale solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid projects through to ready‑to‑build stage.
Key focus areas:- Lead and grow the German development team
- Drive site acquisition, land securing, and project development
- Oversee permitting, planning, and grid connection processes
- Build strong relationships with municipalities, authorities, and partners
- Manage budgets, development strategy, and stakeholder engagement
- Support project financing and asset sale processes
- Senior experience in renewable energy project development in Germany
- Proven leadership at country or regional level
- Strong understanding of German planning and grid connection frameworks
- Established industry network
- Country‑level ownership with real strategic influence
- Long‑term platform with a clear growth strategy
