Job Summary
Maintain and repair plant facilities, equipment, and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient production support.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair plant facilities, equipment, utility systems, and production support equipment to ensure operational reliability
- Comply with company safety rules, regulations, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems to maintain a safe work environment
- Monitor plant utility systems including compressed air, gas systems, fire protection systems, and electrical distribution to detect and report abnormalities
- Record operational parameters and report any deviations or issues promptly to relevant personnel
- Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance, servicing, inspections, and authority-related works to ensure compliance and quality
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building facilities and plant utilities to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to restore functionality quickly
- Maintain utility systems such as air compressors, chillers, furnaces, pumps, lighting, and electrical DB/MCC panels to support plant operations
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair requests to reduce production impact
- Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update reports to track work progress and history
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and automation lines to support plant upgrades
- Support small projects, machine modifications, and automation improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure work quality and safety compliance during maintenance activities
- Support energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives to improve plant sustainability and reduce expenses
- Carry out maintenance-related tasks arising from building inspections and safety meetings to address identified issues
- Track and order maintenance supplies and consumables to ensure availability of necessary materials
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to support timely repairs
- Follow up closely on tasks and instructions assigned by Supervisor or Engineer to ensure timely completion of maintenance works
- NTC 2 or 3 or equivalent certification
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in facilities and maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, air compressors, and utility equipment
- Hands-on experience in an industrial environment
- Familiarity with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to plant facilities and utility systems
