Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club

The Maintenance Custodian Associate is responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This role requires being on your feet and on the go, while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure a great member experience.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary
• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Keep facilities clean (floors, restrooms, windows, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program
• Maintain appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed

• Maintain safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management
• Assist in keeping all areas of the facility clean and safe according to company guidelines and procedures
• Support a positive member experience through friendly service and a well-maintained environment

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Prior maintenance or custodial experience preferred but not required
