Ninja One is looking for a self‑driven and detail‑oriented Localization Specialist to join our in‑house localization team. Reporting to the Localization Manager, this role combines translation expertise with cross‑functional collaboration. As our Dutch Localization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless translation and localization of marketing content from English into Dutch—maintaining our brand voice for the Dutch market, while adapting content for our Dutch‑speaking target audience of IT experts.

Reporting to the Localization Manager, this role combines translation expertise with cross‑functional collaboration. As our Dutch Localization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless translation and localization of marketing content from English into Dutch—maintaining our brand voice for the Dutch market, while adapting content for our Dutch‑speaking target audience of IT experts.
As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for the complete asset creation process, from start to finish. You will ensure all Dutch content across product, documentation, marketing and sales collateral upholds the same high quality standards our English‑speaking target audience is already accustomed to. This role is tailor‑made for a true linguist with a passion for technically challenging content, an ownership mentality, and excellent time management skills.
Location – Remote, anywhere in Germany.
What You’ll Be Doing- MTPE translation:
Adapt machine pre‑translated content to meet marketing, product, and sales‑related quality expectations. - Linguistic Excellence:
Conduct research into industry‑specific terminology to ensure high‑quality translations within a technology‑centric SaaS business environment. - Quality Assurance:
Own the end‑to‑end localisation process, including SEO optimisation, UI/UX review, LQA and adaptation workflows, asset finalisation processes, and additional localisation best practices, that make us stand out in our target market. - Quality Adaptation:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to address market‑specific expectations. - Terminology Management:
Build and maintain our glossaries and style guides to ensure linguistic consistency. - Localization Best Practices:
Utilize your localisation knowledge to deliver truly local experiences across the various asset creation workflows and help us become more effective over time. - Review & Automation:
Optimise AI‑powered translation output. - Perform other localisation‑related duties as needed.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Excellent writing skills in Dutch with the ability to adapt highly technical content.
- Prior localisation experience as a translator, interpreter, or in a similar role.
- Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
- Strong interest in IT topics.
- Proactive mindset with an unshakable focus on the expectations of your target audience.
- Experience with Translation Management Systems or CAT tools (e.g. memo
Q). - Experience with SEO best practices.
- Experience with Word Press or other content management systems.
- Certifications in linguistics or related fields.
