Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst will work with the Winsupply IT department and QA analysts throughout the entire life cycle of projects, enhancements and fixes. This will include, but is not limited to, involvement in requirements phase, conceptual design, testing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the end users of the products and implementation. QA also acts as a liaison between Win Support and IT, and provides second and third level support for help desk issues.

In addition, QA provides assistance for the day to day, fast‑paced, operations of Win Support.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities
  • Create test scripts and user documentation for implemented products
  • Develop test plans – Work with and provide constructive input to various IT departments in a professional and effective manner through all phases of project development while maintaining the end users’ best interests as primary focus
  • Ensure documentation is completed and maintained in a timely fashion
  • Follow a test script and perform various levels of testing for applications from different Winsupply platforms
  • Attend meetings with IT departments, Support, Training, and Local Companies as needed while maintaining the professional integrity and image of the Quality Assurance Department
  • Work with Local Company end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Alpha Testing, and Piloting
  • Coordinate project implementation from UAT to company wide roll out while meeting agreed upon target dates
  • Effectively work with WISE and other Winsupply platforms to provide effective feedback and produce quality test results
  • Review and approve test plans
  • Training and working with other members of the Quality Assurance team
  • Creating effective and efficient tests within our Selenium based automation framework
  • Keeping tests updated and current within the automated framework

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA testing
    • Ability to provide attention to detail, thoroughness and ownership in all duties
    • Proficient in written and oral communications - Ability to follow a test script and provide appropriate results and feedback
    • Ability to learn and utilize WISE and other Winsupply platforms
    • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and complete tasks based on established time lines
    • Effectively work and cooperate with other departments within Winsupply
    • Knowledge of Agile approach to software development
    • Knowledge of JIRA or equivalent software package to log bug fixes and track project work through the software lifecycle
    • Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies
    • Proficiency in QA best practices and standards
    • Knowledge of web applications, client‑server applications, and databases / SQL
    • Knowledge of qTest or other Test Case Management Software
    • Knowledge of Postman for API Testing
    • Basic understanding of Java or related language
