Location: Columbus, OH 43215

Contract | 3+ Months

Candidates will work onsite in Franklin or Madison County.

Mandatory Experience (12+ Years)

• Proven expertise in Network Security and Threat Detection
• Strong background in Incident Response and Vulnerability Management
• Hands-on experience administering Qualys vulnerability management platform
• Deep knowledge of Remediation Documentation and Patch Management Processes

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect data, systems, and networks
• Respond promptly to all system and/or network security breaches
• Conduct testing and identify network and system vulnerabilities
• Evaluate organizational security needs and establish best practices and standards
• Ensure infrastructure and data protection through appropriate security measures
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpoints
• Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability
• Collaborate with IT and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes
• Tune scans to reduce false positives and improve data accuracy
• Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports
• Conduct ongoing testing and scans to identify vulnerabilities in networks and systems
