Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Senior Consultant to join a nearshore engagement in Germany. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) across both ECC and S/4
HANA environments. You will work closely with clients to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions and defend design decisions confidently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end implementations and support in SAP PP and QM modules.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and directly interact with customers to define business processes and system designs.
- Translate business requirements into effective, scalable SAP solutions.
- Defend and validate proposed solutions with key stakeholders.
- Provide expert input on DMS and MRP functionality.
- Recommend process improvements to increase business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver SAP QM expertise in areas such as quality inspection (procurement, production, delivery), notifications, test equipment calibration, SPC, quality certificates, and standard reporting.
- Ensure seamless integration of QM with PP/MM/SD modules.
- Map manufacturing and quality processes accurately in SAP.
- Manage rejections, rework, and production deviations alongside standard manufacturing workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in SAP PP/QM delivery and support.
- Proven implementation experience in both ECC and S/4
HANA systems. - Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, document solutions, and interact effectively with clients.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with incident handling, change management, and working within ITIL/SDLC frameworks.
- Highly customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
- Solid academic background and attention to detail.
