Information Technology Desktop Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Trade Floor Support Specialist to provide real-time, front-line IT support to traders, analysts, and front-office personnel on the trading floor. This role is critical in maintaining high availability of trading systems and ensuring minimal downtime across platforms, applications, and hardware.

• Provide first and second-line technical support to users on the trading floor, including traders, sales teams, and risk analysts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Support critical trading applications
  , including market data platforms, order management systems, execution management systems and proprietary platforms.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to resolve network, server, and desktop issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and peripheral equipment.
• Ensure system stability and performance with proactive monitoring and timely response to incidents.
• Participate in the deployment and testing of new software and systems used by front-office teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation for support processes, incidents, and system configurations.
• Liaise with vendors and third-party providers to resolve escalated issues.

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in a trade floor or financial services support role

• Strong understanding of market data systems
  , trading platforms, and financial technology.
• Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
• Experience with scripting tools (e.g., Power Shell) for automation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
