YOUR FUTURE ROLE
As a Principal AI BTP Development Consultant (f/m/d), you act as a strategic expert at the intersection of AI and SAP Business Technology Platform. You shape enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native architectures and drive the adoption of AI‑powered solutions across complex customer landscapes.
You define technical standards and best practices, influence long‑term technology roadmaps, and guide customers in embedding AI into mission‑critical business processes. Working closely with development, sales, and executive stakeholders, you translate innovation into scalable, future‑ready solution strategies.
Beyond delivery, you mentor colleagues, foster cross‑functional collaboration, and build trusted partnerships with customers worldwide. If you are motivated to shape how organizations strategically leverage SAP BTP and AI at scale, we look forward to your application.
What you’ll build:
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of large, business‑critical initiatives, ensuring strategic impact and sustainable outcomes.
- Act as a recognized expert, setting technical and architectural standards across complex domains.
- Operate autonomously, prioritizing strategically and resolving cross‑functional challenges.
- Influence long‑term technology strategy and future system and process design.
- Leverage deep expertise to drive innovation and enterprise‑wide transformation.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate with clarity to ensure alignment across teams.
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and bring several years of experience in implementation projects. You are experienced in agile development methodologies and have successfully delivered SAP BTP projects or Proof of Concepts.
You are open to customer‑facing engagements and travel across Europe and globally. Fluent German and English skills complete your profile.
What you bring:
- Hands‑on experience with SAP’s extensibility and AI portfolio
- Strong understanding of SAP’s solution portfolio and strategic direction
- Proven track record in leading roles (e.g. Lead Architect, Technical Project Manager) delivering implementation projects successfully
- Experience applying project management methodologies in enterprise environments (e.g. PMI, SAFe, Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectures, guide implementation and apply effort estimation techniques
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
