Job Description

Brampton - Hybrid (2-3 days from Office)

  • Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of SAP technical projects, including upgrades, migrations, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and overall project governance.
  • Ensure alignment with PMO methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid).
  • Provide technical oversight across key SAP components (modules, BASIS, ABAP, security, infrastructure, interface technologies).
  • Collaborate with technical leads on solution architecture, system design, and technical feasibility.
  • Facilitate code reviews, transport management, technical cutover planning and execution.
  • Work closely with business process owners, functional consultants, architects, and technical teams; manage relationships with external vendors, system integrators, and offshore/onshore delivery teams.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, executive updates, and materials for steering committees.
  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks, technical issues, and system dependencies; drive root‑cause analysis for defects, performance issues, integration failures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee SAP transport movement, release cycles, and deployment governance.
  • Coordinate cutover activity planning, production readiness checks, and hypercare support during stabilization.
  • Ensure smooth deployment transitions across environments.
  • Ensure all technical and project documentation is complete, accurate, and up‑to‑date (functional & technical specifications, architecture diagrams, SOPs and runbooks).
  • Enforce SAP best practices for development, testing, operations, and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
  • 7–12 years of experience in SAP technical environments (ABAP, BASIS, integrations).
  • 4–8 years of project management experience leading SAP initiatives.
  • Hands‑on experience delivering S/4

    HANA or ECC transformation programs.
  • Proven experience with SAP integration technologies: IDocs, RFC, APIs, PI/PO, CPI.
  • Ability to manage complex SAP landscapes and cross‑functional dependencies.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, transport management, and landscape design.
  • Conceptual experience in ABAP development, enhancements, debugging.
  • Understanding of SAP Basis administration, security roles & authorization concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS), SAP BTP, integration tools.
  • Proficiency with project tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, Smartsheet.
Project Management Skills
  • Expertise in Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong competency in sprint planning, backlog management, release planning.
  • Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
