Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Simulation MLOps Engineer with strong expertise in simulation environments, system architecture, and data-driven cloud integration. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable simulation architectures that seamlessly integrate with Data Lake infrastructures and ML pipelines.
The position spans the full lifecycle from concept definition and technology evaluation to architecture design, integration, and cross-team coordination, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and alignment with customer and provider standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop the overall concept and architecture for the required simulation environments and interfaces
- Research, evaluate, and benchmark suitable simulation platforms and technologies
- Design integration concepts connecting simulation outputs with Data Lake and ML pipelines
- Ensure seamless interoperability between simulation systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI workflows
- Collaborate closely with Cloud, Data, and ML teams to guarantee scalability and performance
- Align technical architecture with selected simulation providers and customer standards
- Define APIs and interfaces for robust data exchange and system communication
- Apply Dev Ops and Infrastructure-as-Code principles (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes) to enable automated deployment and maintainability
- Ensure high technical quality, maintainability, and long-term scalability of the solution
- Strong background in system architecture and simulation platforms
- Hands‑on experience integrating simulation environments with Data Lakes and ML pipelines
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Experience designing APIs and system interfaces
- Practical knowledge of Dev Ops principles and CI/CD environments
- Experience with Terraform and/or Kubernetes (preferred)
- Strong analytical thinking and system‑level architectural mindset
- Ability to coordinate across technical domains and align with external providers
- English (C1 level required), German is a plus
