We are seeking a highly organized and technically fluent
Technical Implementation Manager to bridge the gap between Sales, Technical Support, and Customer Success. This role is responsible for onboarding new merchants, managing technical integrations, and ensuring a seamless transition from implementation to ongoing support.

The ideal candidate understands payment processing environments, APIs, gateway integrations, and operational workflows — and can confidently communicate with both developers and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Technical Implementation
  • Lead end-to-end merchant onboarding and integration processes
  • Coordinate API integrations, payment method configurations, and testing workflows
  • Oversee sandbox → production transitions
  • Ensure proper setup of routing rules, FIs, and payment flows
  • Validate callback configurations and IP whitelisting
  • Document integration steps and maintain internal implementation playbooks
Customer Success & Onboarding
  • Act as primary technical point of contact during onboarding
  • Run kickoff calls and manage integration timelines
  • Provide clear technical guidance to merchants and partners
  • Identify potential integration risks early and proactively mitigate them
  • Ensure merchants are fully operational before handoff to ongoing support
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams
  • Work closely with 24/7 Support to ensure smooth transition post-launch
  • Monitor early-stage performance metrics (conversion rates, routing, transaction flow)
  • Assist with troubleshooting during initial go-live period
Documentation & Process Improvement
  • Maintain and improve onboarding documentation and integration guides
  • Develop internal SOPs for new payment methods or banking partners
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve implementation efficiency
  • Track onboarding KPIs and implementation timelines
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS implementation
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, APIs, callbacks/webhooks
  • Experience with merchant onboarding in a merchant-of-record or ISO environment preferred
  • Familiarity with acquiring banks, routing logic, and transaction lifecycle
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
