Overview
Description Racing for Recovery, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization based in Holland, Ohio, is seeking a dependable, organized, and technically skilled Technology Coordinator to support our internal technology systems while assisting with media production and content documentation. This role combines IT support responsibilities with media production, filming, podcast setup, and travel to events such as speaking engagements and athletic competitions. Depending on candidate qualifications, this position may be structured as either one full-time role covering both technology and media responsibilities, or two part-time roles (one focused on IT support and one focused on media production).
We are open to candidates with strengths in one or both areas. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a mission-driven environment. This position is based in person at our Holland, Ohio office, with travel required for certain assignments.

Compensation

Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications. Part-time or full-time structure will be determined based on candidate fit.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for staff (computers, printers, mobile devices, office equipment)
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations (Windows and/or macOS)
- Maintain reliable office network, internet, and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets
- Ensure systems remain updated, secure, and protected
- Maintain equipment inventory and documentation
- Assist with technology upgrades and system improvements
- Coordinate with external vendors when needed
- Film and document client stories, testimonials, and organizational activities
- Set up and operate podcast recording equipment (audio and video)
- Film speaking engagements, events, and athletic competitions
- Assist with video organization and content file management
- Support content capture during travel assignments
- Maintain media equipment and ensure readiness for events
- Coordinate with the organization’s social media team to deliver captured content for posting and content creation purposes
- Organize, label, and transfer media files in a timely and structured manner
- Assist with basic content preparation when needed (file formatting, clips, thumbnails, etc.)
- Travel domestically and internationally as required to document events
- Assist with setup and breakdown of media and presentation equipment
- Ensure technology functions properly during live events
- Support media and presentation needs during speaking engagements
Travel frequency varies depending on organizational schedule.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or technical coordination and/or media production
- Strong troubleshooting ability with computers and networks
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- Experience operating video or audio equipment (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed
- Professional communication skills
Candidates must demonstrate reliability, organization, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)- Experience with video production or content creation
- Familiarity with cameras, microphones, and recording setups
- Experience with podcast production
- Basic video editing knowledge
- IT certifications or technology-related degree
- Experience working in nonprofit or mission-driven environments
- Experience working with digital content workflows or social media environments
