We are supporting an established organisation in their search for an experienced Service Now Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable Service Now solutions for enterprise customers.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise across the Service Now platform with strong architecture, leadership, and customer-facing skills. You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, ensuring best practices, and supporting complex implementations.

• Act as the technical authority for Service Now implementations across multiple projects
• Design end-to-end Service Now architectures, with a strong focus on ITSM and CSM, as well as additional modules
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and solution architectures
• Define integration approaches, data models, security, and performance considerations
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance to development and delivery teams
• Ensure solutions align with Service Now best practices, platform standards, and future scalability
• Participate in client workshops, technical discussions, and design reviews
• Support pre‑sales activities where required (technical input, solution validation, estimations)
• Stay current with Service Now releases, capabilities, and architectural patterns

• Proven experience as a Service Now Technical Architect or senior technical lead
• Strong hands‑on experience with ITSM and CSM (essential)
• Experience with additional Service Now modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, or custom applications
• Deep understanding of Service Now platform architecture, including:
• Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
• Integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server)
• CMDB and data modelling
• Security and role‑based access
• Experience delivering complex, enterprise‑scale Service Now implementations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel
