Key Responsibilities- Interpret Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to select proper security mitigations for each area.
- Collaborate with AWS architectural and engineering teams to assure each data center meets high physical security standards.
- Lead physical security projects, including design, implementation, and validation of access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.
- Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for pricing by approved vendors.
- Review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes; submit complete and accurate quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for requisition inclusion.
- Manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
- Serve as subject matter expert for physical security system testing, acceptance, and operational readiness at project completion.
- Prepare and archive project close‑out documentation.
- Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.
- Travel up to 25% within the USA as required.

BasicQualifications
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- At least 2 years of security operations experience in data center, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or similar industries, including access control systems, CCTV, and defense-in-depth strategies.
- At least 2 years of experience in physical security project management.
- Considered candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- For Gov Cloud region, candidate requires U.S. Citizenship or equivalent status. Effective May 15, 2017, logical access to the AWS Gov Cloud region will be restricted to Amazon employees who are U.S. Citizens. Gov Cloud may NOT be accessed from outside the United States.
- Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
- PSP, CPP, PMP Certification.
- Ability to manage multiple medium and large‑scale projects that are complex, interpret program objectives, develop project schedules, and manage adherence to established timetables.

Salary range for this position: 61,100.00 – USD annually (USA, OH, Plain City).
