We’re looking for a Head of AI – part AI wizard, part strategic visionary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to define and drive the AI strategy of a future market leader in the BIM space.

• Lead the AI Vision:
  Define and execute neoBIM’s AI strategy, combining strategic foresight with hands-on implementation.
• Own the Full AI Stack:
  Oversee the end-to-end development of advanced AI systems, including generative 3D models, large language models (LLMs), and multi-modal neural networks. Manage the full lifecycle from design to deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Stay Hands-On with Code and Complex Problems:
  Actively contribute to core development tasks, from prototyping and model training to debugging and performance tuning. Lead by example as a technical authority who solves complex problems and supports the team in critical engineering decisions.
• Drive Product-Centered Innovation:
  Translate cutting-edge AI research into practical, value-creating features within neoBIM’s product suite. Enable automation, design optimization, and data-driven insights across the full spectrum of planning and construction workflows.

• Proven Leadership in AI Strategy and Execution:
  Demonstrated experience defining and driving AI strategy across product and engineering teams in a high-growth or tech-driven environment.
• Hands-On Programming Excellence:
  Expert-level proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow, JAX). Strong coding habits and ability to personally contribute to core development tasks.
• LLM & Generative AI Expertise:
  Deep experience with training, fine-tuning, and deploying Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA, Mixtral) and generative AI systems (e.g., Diffusion Models, VAEs, GANs).
• Multimodal & 3D AI Systems:
  Track record of building and optimizing multimodal or 3D-capable models, such as Vision Transformers, NeRFs, or generative 3D architectures.
• Full AI System Lifecycle Ownership:
  Experience leading end-to-end AI development, including model training, deployment, performance monitoring, and iteration at scale.
• MLOps & Scalable Infrastructure:
  Deep understanding of MLOps tooling and infrastructure (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, data versioning). Comfortable building enterprise-grade cloud/hybrid/on-prem systems.
• Strong Analytical & Mathematical Foundation:
  Solid grounding in statistics, optimization, and deep learning theory relevant to real-world applications.
