Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong understanding of Structured Products and a passion for data accuracy and process efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining structured financial products in our internal XML-based data model via a dedicated GUI. Your work ensures that our data feeds are consistent, complete, and compliant, forming the foundation for quantitative calculations and the generation of regulatory documents (PRIIP KIDs) for our clients, including trading desks across Europe. You will act as a key liaison between our client (a leading Swiss bank) and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, high data quality, and timely product delivery.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Capture and configure new structured products in our internal data model using a dedicated user interface (GUI).
- Ensure data completeness and accuracy for both newly created and existing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Understand and validate data stored in XML format; basic XML knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Manage incoming requests and queries via our ticketing system and occasionally by phone. Provide accurate, timely feedback and resolve issues collaboratively.
- Maintain manual product flows, including updates to product lifecycle data, website entries, and document uploads.
- Work closely with internal data, product, quant and technology teams to ensure end-to-end consistency of product information and smooth downstream processing.
- Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies in the data flow and proactively contribute to process optimization.
- Contribute to initiatives across WSD, bringing subject matter expertise of the use of data and relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Structured Products (ideally in the EMEA market) – product setup experience is a major plus.
- Basic familiarity with XML data structures and logical data models.
- Excellent analytical skills, precision, and a strong eye for detail.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Strong communication and client interaction skills, ideally with experience in a client-facing or ticket-based environment.
- Reliable and self-organized with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive mindset and interest in financial data operations and product lifecycle management.
