The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of data architecture and engineering best practices , and will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, integration, and modeling . The role requires the candidate to be capable to see project s from inception to completion with little or no supervision while producing a highly efficient and correct solution.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and optimize data models of our Snowflake Data Warehouse to support business specifications , BI reporting, and advanced analytics.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.
- Implement and maintain data orchestration by tools and programming
- Collaborate with BI analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-structured datasets.
- Manage user access and monitor user activities .
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve integration or access issues.
- Monitor and improve the performance and cost-efficiency of cloud data platforms.
- Support data governance and compliance by applying standards for metadata, lineage, and access control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and resilience.
Profile & Core Competencies
- Bachelor's in computer science , Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database and data warehouse including data objects, users, privileges, etc.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning , and experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java).
- Experience with cloud data platforms .
- Experiences on GIT
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques (star schema, 3NF, data vault) .
- Hands-on experience with orchestration/workflow tools
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
