• Working experience with QLIK replicate is a must.
• Working experience with Golden gate and IIDR is a plus.
• Install replication products and drivers on windows and Linux systems.
• Apply the patches to replication tools for life cycle management.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be an enthusiastic candidate who works in a challenging environment.
• Must adapt to a change, learning new technologies.
• Must be very good at documentation and presentation skills.
• Automation using Python and terraform is a plus.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• working experience with AWS services like RDS, Aurora , S3 etc.
• Good Problem-solving skills and analytical skills
• Must be able to deliver the results with minimal supervision.
• Assist project teams, database teams and development teams in the setting up of new replication requests.
• Provide operational support for replication technologies.
• Provide assistance and training to database teams regarding replication technologies.
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot replication issues as needed.
• Test new releases and patches provided by vendors.
• Support migrations from legacy replication technologies to new technologies
• Confer with application owners, users, and other engineers to collect requirements for replication enhancements.
• Provide on-call support.

Required:

• 7 years of IT experience overall.
• 3-5 years’ experience supporting database or replication technologies especially QLIK replicate.
• Linux Shell scripting and Windows Power Shell scripting.
• Experience with Qlik replicate is mandatory.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies
• Previous experience administering databases in an enterprise environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Organizational Skills.
• Personal attributes: adaptable, change agent, collaborative, results driven, accountability oriented.
• Understand the cross-functional interdependencies within and across IT communities. Adjust communication style based on target audience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quick moving environment.
• Ability to work off-hours.
