Join to apply for the Chief Transformation Officer - German Speaking Market role at TP
IntroductionWelcome to TP, a global hub of innovation and empowerment, where we redefine the future. With a remarkable €10 billion annual revenue and a global team of 500,000 employees serving 170 countries in over 300 languages, we lead in intelligent, digital‑first solutions. As a globally certified Great Place to Work in 72 countries, our culture thrives on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We value your unique perspective and believe that your talent is the missing piece that completes our vision for a brighter, digitally driven tomorrow.
In this role, you will be a pivotal leader within the German Speaking Market (GSM) and EMEA leadership teams. Reporting directly to the CEO GSM and the CTO EMEA, you will be responsible for localizing and accelerating the global AI transformation framework. This is not a role for experimental pilots; it is a role for measurable industrialization, focused on driving operational efficiency and bottom‑line savings (EUR) across a complex, matrixed international environment.
Responsibilities& Duties
- Drive the deployment of AI tools across GSM/EMEA, moving beyond "proof of concept" to scaled, measurable outcomes.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the German market, navigating Works Council (Betriebsrat) negotiations, BAFIN regulations, and strict data privacy (GDPR) requirements to ensure seamless tool adoption.
- Architect large‑scale business cases that quantify the value of transformation. You will develop models in which savings are not just projected but guaranteed to clients through technology integration.
- Operate effectively within a high‑pressure matrix environment, managing political sensitivities between global mandates and local country‑specificities.
- Partner with the sales and account teams to communicate complex technical value propositions to C‑suite clients, specifically focusing on the financial ROI of our technology suite.
- Deploy the regional transformation roadmap across all GSM markets with clear milestones and outcomes.
- Demonstrate measurable efficiency improvements (cost, speed, quality) from transformation initiatives.
- Accelerate adoption of AI and automation tools in GSM operations.
- Increase client revenue linked to transformation‑led engagements and co‑innovation programmes.
- Build a strong cultural foundation for AI‑first adoption through leadership engagement and internal communications.
- Professional proficiency in German and English is essential. Experience working across diverse EMEA cultures (Nordics, Southern Europe, UK) to adapt the global framework to local nuances.
- 12+ years in large‑scale transformation, management consulting, or operational leadership.
- Deep familiarity with the German regulatory environment (Works Council, BAFIN, and high‑level compliance).
- Proven track record of building and defending significant business cases (multi‑million Euro impact).
- Experience reporting into international structures and influencing peers across different geographies.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical AI capabilities and practical business applications.
- Proven experience collaborating with and gaining approval from German Works Councils (Betriebsrat) for the implementation of AI or monitoring technologies.
- Expertise in navigating GDPR within highly sensitive jurisdictions, specifically regarding the "right to explanation" in AI‑driven decision‑making.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex, multi‑year business cases ($10M+). You must be able to translate "efficiency gains" into hard‑dollar P&L impact.
- Experience in "Outcome‑Based" or "Gain‑Share" commercial models, where technology ROI is guaranteed to the client through contractual SLAs.
- A track record of moving technology from "Pilot/Sandbox" to "Standard Operating Procedure" across multiple countries.
- Ability to balance a reporting line to the EMEA CTO while serving the GSM Leadership Team. You must influence without direct authority over local country managers.
