AI Product Specialist (Discovery & Prototyping Focus)

Hybrid Cologne or Berlin (with remote flexibility across Germany)

An early‑stage tech company is looking for an AI Product Specialist who can bridge the gap between users and practical AI solutions. You’ll work at the intersection of product discovery, workflow analysis, and rapid prototyping helping transform complex user problems into validated, testable AI‑driven features.

This is a hands‑on, exploratory role suited to someone who loves talking to users, mapping processes, building lightweight prototypes, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

• Running deep‑drive sessions with users to understand their daily workflows and pain points
• Building and testing low‑code/no‑code prototypes (e.g., prompt‑based tools, automated flows)
• Designing, refining, and evaluating AI prompts and logic
• Translating discovery insights into structured feature ideas
• Partnering with developers to move validated prototypes into production
• Gathering feedback and iterating on early concepts
• Staying current with AI trends and identifying new opportunities
• Supporting delivery with clear documentation, testing, and refinement

• 3–6 years’ experience in product discovery, UX prototyping, or applied AI (B2B or SaaS preferred)
• Strong ability to analyse user workflows and translate them into practical solutions
• Fluent German (C1+) — many users are German‑speaking
• Curiosity and hands‑on comfort with AI tools, prompting, and no‑code prototyping
• Ability to collaborate tightly with developers and understand APIs/workflows at a conceptual level
• Experimental mindset — you move quickly, test assumptions, and adapt

• Experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or similar technical sectors
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Make, N8N, Zapier)
• Exposure to AI feature evaluation or structured testing
• Basic scripting or no‑code development exposure (Python, Bubble, Streamlit, etc.)
