Senior Manager - Identity & Access Management
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager - Identity & Access Management to enable secure digital transformation in the realm of Cybersecurity and Risk Management. In this role you will join a team of experts to support clients with technical and strategic insights across all aspects of cybersecurity. In this role you will specialise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) and guide international clients in developing and implementing robust IAM/PAM processes and solutions.
Your expertise will play a key role in fostering sustainable security practices.
- Oversee IAM/PAM projects from start to finish, including initial client engagement, requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, and go-live support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, managing governance, architecture, and system integration to achieve clients' IAM objectives.
- Tailor IAM tools to meet client-specific needs, acting as a primary advisor on governance, standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive the enhancement of IAM products and services while identifying opportunities to expand into new customer segments.
- Develop and mentor interdisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- A degree in information security, engineering, computer science, or a related field, with at least 5 years of professional experience in Identity & Access Management.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
- Strong expertise in technical and regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT/VAIT) and hands‑on experience with IAM solutions like One Identity and SailPoint, including their configuration/customisation.
- In‑depth knowledge of IAM processes from design to implementation, aligned with client needs.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT security standards (e.g., ISO
27X, NIST), IAM requirements, and architectures. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead engage international teams at all organisational levels.
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in both German and English
