We are seeking a Data Operations & Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability, quality, and reliability of enterprise data platforms. This role is focused on monitoring, incident handling, and continuous operational improvement of data pipelines in production.
Location: Portugal (On-site availability for select projects required).
Start date: Q2 2026

Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor data pipelines and ETL workflows in production
Investigate and resolve data incidents and failures
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
Support production releases and deployments
Provide root cause analysis and operational reporting
Work closely with data engineers, cloud, and Dev Ops teams
4+ years of experience in data operations, data support, or similar roles
Strong SQL skills
Python or scripting experience for troubleshooting and automation
Experience with data pipelines (ADF, Talend, Databricks or similar)
Experience in incident management and production support
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
SLA-based support experience
Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Basic cloud platform knowledge (Azure or AWS)
German language skills
Must be a Portugueseor Europeancitizen or have a work permit for Portugal
