We are seeking a Data Operations & Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability, quality, and reliability of enterprise data platforms. This role is focused on monitoring, incident handling, and continuous operational improvement of data pipelines in production.

• Location: Portugal (On-site availability for select projects required).

• Start date: Q2 2026

• Monitor data pipelines and ETL workflows in production

• Investigate and resolve data incidents and failures

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

• Support production releases and deployments

• Provide root cause analysis and operational reporting

• Work closely with data engineers, cloud, and Dev Ops teams

• 4+ years of experience in data operations, data support, or similar roles

• Strong SQL skills

• Python or scripting experience for troubleshooting and automation

• Experience with data pipelines (ADF, Talend, Databricks or similar)

• Experience in incident management and production support

• Fluent in English

• Nice to Have

  • SLA-based support experience

  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments

  • Basic cloud platform knowledge (Azure or AWS)

  • German language skills

• Must be a Portugueseor Europeancitizen or have a work permit for Portugal
