As part of our next phase of growth, we are expanding our focus into the travel and tourism space through our 1UP.Travel brand. While this role will support a variety of clients across industries today, you’ll play a key role in helping us build scalable account management systems that will support our long-term specialization in tourism, travel, tours, activities, and attractions.

You excel at building trust with clients, communicating clearly, and keeping projects moving, but you’re also comfortable with hands‑on implementation, QA, and coordination. You understand digital marketing well enough to execute, troubleshoot, and guide projects forward, while leaning on a strong internal team of subject matter experts for deeper strategy, advanced optimization, and specialized task execution.
You’re organized, proactive, and see account management as both a client‑facading and operational role. You want ownership, influence, and a clear growth path within a high‑performing agency.
Account Manager Goals & Accountabilities- Above all else, maintain healthy, long‑term client relationships.
- Ensure consistent delivery against client KPIs and expectations.
- Keep accounts organized, proactive, and profitable.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to improving how account management is done at 1UP.
As a Digital Marketing Account Manager at 1UP, your responsibilities will span four key areas:
Account Management & Client Relationships- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
- Build strong, trusted relationships through clear communication and consistent follow‑through.
- Understand client needs, not just their stated goals, and translate them into clear action plans and explain recommendations in a way clients understand.
- Lead regular check‑ins, reporting calls, and strategic conversations.
- Own timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination across SEO, PPC, web, content, and analytics projects.
- Manage tasks and workflows in Click Up, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Hands‑on campaign execution where needed (Basic Roadmap tasks, QA, optimizations, setup, coordination).
- Doing what it takes to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and aligned with client expectations.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals (AI, SEO, paid media, analytics, CRO).
- Review work completed by specialists to ensure it aligns with strategy and client goals.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, upsells, or testing — and collaborate with the strategy team to scope them.
- Work closely with specialists and leadership to ensure clients receive best‑in‑class service.
- Participate in the Account Management Committee, helping shape:
- Annual Account Management priorities and roadmap
- Internal processes and best practices
- Scalable systems that will be deployed across the entire Account Management team
- Contribute feedback from clients to help improve service delivery and retention.
