Dev Ops / Cloud Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a Dev Ops / Cloud Engineer (AWS) for the development of a GSB Kubernetes platform, where the GSB
11 will be deployed.

Our client is a young, technology-driven company that supports customers from the public administration, industry, and financial sector in their digital transformation. For a long-term project in the field of official infrastructure, they are looking for motivated Cloud Engineers (AWS) with a focus on AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Development, configuration, and setup of the platform
• Integration and setup of interfaces for the proper operation of the cloud environment
• Cluster provision:
  Analysis of suitable services, comparison of services with the BSI for C5 conformity, customization of the respective services, rollout and configuration of cloud services
• Security:
  Setup of the cloud platform in a security-compliant manner and according to best practices, application of Zero-Trust and Least Privilege principles, familiarity with Cloud Security Framework (BSI C5)

Requirements:

• IaC:
  Terraform, Open Tofu
• Container & Orchestration:
  Kubernetes (EC2, Fargate), Docker, Podman, Cluster provision, ECR
• Dev Ops & CI/CD:
  ArgoCD, CI/CD Pipelines, GIT
• Cloud services (AWS): S3 Bucket, Lambda, Elasti Cache, Loadbalancer, CDN, ECR
• Monitoring & Logging:
  Grafana, Prometheus
• Network & Security: IAM (Identity and Access Management), WAF (Web Application Firewall), nginx, network configuration
