Description

We are looking for an Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to join Home Matters Construction, a leading construction company. As a Help Desk Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our employees and ensuring smooth operations of our IT systems. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and assisting users with technical problems.

This position is vital in ensuring that our team can work efficiently and effectively, making it an integral part of our company s success.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to help desk tickets promptly and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Set up and configure new equipment for users.
  • Perform regular maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of computer systems.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Document all help desk interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on providing high-quality service.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Certification in IT or relevant field is a plus.
