The Growth team combines behavioral science with growth product management to apply behavioral insights, inform experimentation, and optimize growth work.
Responsibilities- Assist the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in executing the product roadmap and spearheading growth engineering initiatives.
- Bridge communication between product management and other company functions to ensure alignment on objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to inform product development and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and design to define requirements, oversee feature development, and pursue product optimization.
- Monitor product performance metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to the CPO, teams, and external partners as needed.
- Support growth and core product experimentation processes, code and analyze growth work streams, and collaborate with Growth, Core Product Development, and Data Science teams.
- Peer-review Growth code, assist with experiment launches on Google Firebase, debug with the product team, and assist in QA of new features.
- Own translations of winning experiments across languages/platforms and manage the end-to-end experimentation process.
- Background in software engineering
- Strong confidence in JSON and Java or JavaScript (SQL is a bonus)
- Comfort with statistical significance and common types of statistical bias
- Understanding of good experimental design basics
- Passion for growth, metrics, and delivering an outstanding user experience
- Data-driven and analytical mindset to identify user patterns and optimize key metrics
- Interest in behavioral science is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, or a technical major, or related work experience
- Experience designing and running AB/RCT trials and understanding experimental design nuances
- Data science background is a bonus
- Interest or background in machine learning
