The Role

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Key User (Developer) with a strong background in data visualization and analytics, along with working knowledge of Salesforce or sales/revenue data, within the Revenue Operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in building interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards, performing data analysis, and ensuring high‑quality data modeling. In addition, this role requires experience working with Salesforce data, including extracting, transforming, and visualizing CRM and revenue metrics to support business insights.

Familiarity with integrating and optimizing sales or business data for reporting and analysis is preferred.

Please note that this is an office‑based role in our Gurugram location and that we will only consider local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business users.
  • Integrate Salesforce and other sales/revenue data sources with Tableau to provide comprehensive business insights, particularly for Sales and Revenue Operations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable Tableau visualizations.
  • Design and implement data models, blending, and calculations in Tableau to deliver meaningful business insights, especially leveraging Salesforce data.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure smooth integration of Salesforce and other business data sources into Tableau.
  • Perform data analysis, design complex queries, and optimize SQL and Python for efficient data retrieval.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and performance bottlenecks in Tableau reports and Salesforce data queries.
  • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various reports and dashboards, especially when dealing with Salesforce‑derived data.
  • Assist in the design and deployment of ETL processes related to Salesforce and Tableau integration.
  • Provide user training and support for Tableau users across the Sales organization.
  • Stay current with Tableau features, enhancements, and Salesforce reporting best practices.
Key Requirements:
  • Tableau Expertise: 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in developing Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Salesforce Integration: Experience working with Salesforce CRM data, including familiarity with objects, schema, and reporting structures; ability to extract and model Salesforce data for business reporting.
  • SQL

    Skills:

    Proficient in SQL, with experience in complex queries, joins, and subqueries.
  • Data Visualization Best Practices: Strong understanding of best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.
  • ETL Knowledge: Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, including pipelines that handle Salesforce or other sales/revenue data.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Ability to effectively communicate with business users to understand requirements and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving data discrepancies and optimizing performance.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work on CET Times to effectively interact with the HQ in Germany.
