Job Description – Director Of Information Technology

Direct Reports: IT Network Analyst, MES Analyst, Systems Engineers
Primary Function:
As the Director of IT you will continue building a high-performance IT Team, work to execute our current SAP implementation, identify and eliminate security risks as well as design and administer new IT strategies and infrastructures.
- Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT Infrastructure.
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Staff.
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
- Develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget.
- Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately supports the company’s computing and communication needs.
- Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department.
- Identifies new IT developments and technologies, anticipates organizational modification.
- Collaboration with other member of Leadership to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations in a timely and constructive manner.
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Other duties as assigned.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT Infrastructure.
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Staff.
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
- Develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget.
- Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately supports the company’s computing and communication needs.
- Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department.
- Identifies new IT developments and technologies, anticipates organizational modification.
- Collaboration with other member of Leadership to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations in a timely and constructive manner.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related field.
- 7+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
- Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
- Excellent managerial skills.
- Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
- Number of hours a team member working in this position must:
