Lordstown, OH

Direct Reports: IT Network Analyst, MES Analyst, Systems Engineers

Primary Function:
As the Director of IT you will continue building a high-performance IT Team, work to execute our current SAP implementation, identify and eliminate security risks as well as design and administer new IT strategies and infrastructures.

  • Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT Infrastructure.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Staff.
  • Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
  • Develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget.
  • Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately supports the company’s computing and communication needs.
  • Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department.
  • Identifies new IT developments and technologies, anticipates organizational modification.
  • Collaboration with other member of Leadership to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT Infrastructure.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Staff.

  • Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately supports the company’s computing and communication needs.
  • Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department.

  • Collaboration with other member of Leadership to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related field.
Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.

Requires Skills/Licenses/Certifications

  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
