As a technical assistant for hardware and software testing, you will strengthen our team in Augsburg with your knowledge of Linux systems from a user perspective. You will support us in conducting tests on modern hardware from our company to ensure that our devices work optimally with Linux systems. We encourage you to be bold. You will apply your passion for Linux and open source as well as your solution- and user-oriented thinking directly where it is needed. Your experience in setting up and configuring Linux will directly benefit our customers and lead to success.

• Testing hardware and software: You will perform structured tests on our hardware, checking its functionality and compatibility with Linux systems. In doing so, you will create detailed test reports that will serve as a basis for improvements.
• Support with error analysis: When problems arise, you will systematically identify the causes and work with technicians to develop practical solutions. Your observations will be directly incorporated into the optimization of our products.
• Documentation and communication: You document test results clearly and comprehensively so that they are understandable for developers and other team members. You also proactively communicate any anomalies and suggestions for improvement to the team.
• Continuous improvement: You actively contribute ideas to make our testing processes more efficient and effective. Your feedback directly contributes to the continuous improvement of the quality of our hardware and software.

• Technical interest: You are curious about new technologies, hardware components, and software solutions and enjoy trying them out. Your interest helps you to quickly recognize connections and deliver practical test results.
• Experience with Linux: Ideally, you have already set up and configured Linux systems and are familiar with common distributions and their special features. This enables you to carry out tests in a realistic and practical manner.
• Analytical thinking: You are able to analyze problems step by step and systematically develop solutions. Your structured approach supports the team in optimizing processes.
• Communication skills: You can formulate technical issues clearly and comprehensively, both in writing and orally. This facilitates communication within the team and the documentation of test results.
• Teamwork skills: You enjoy working in a team, actively support colleagues, and contribute constructively to joint projects. At the same time, you can take on tasks independently and work on them reliably.
