As a SAP Basis Lead Consultant you are responsible for the stability, performance, and strategic development of our SAP system landscape. You combine deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and security standards in regulated financial environments.

In this role, you design and oversee the operation of complex SAP landscapes (on-premise and cloud), manage system upgrades and migrations to S/4

HANA, and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor, you collaborate closely with IT operations, application teams, and external partners to define architecture standards, optimize processes, and drive innovation in SAP system management.

• Expert-level technology projects - lead advanced implementations, migrations, and optimizations of SAP systems in on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Work with cutting-edge technologies - enhance your expertise in S/4
  
  HANA, SAP BTP
  , and automation tools
• Real influence on SAP architecture - co-create SAP system management strategies, recommend best-fit solutions, and define architecture standards.

• At least 5+ years of experience in the SAP Consulting field
• Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration (installation, configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting)
• Expertise in SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Net Weaver, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Fiori landscapes
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) and operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows)
• Experience with system migrations, upgrades, and cloud integration (Azure, AWS, or private cloud)
• Deep understanding of IT security, compliance, and audit requirements within financial institutions
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and manage service providers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
• Availability to business trips up to 50%
