This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5

• This role involves conducting comprehensive analysis of alternatives (AoA)
• Responsible for evaluating and comparing existing/emerging IT platforms and software
• Responsible for evaluating and comparing software solutions to determine their viability and effectiveness within the AFRL/IZX organization
• Developing detailed documentation outlining the strengths, weaknesses, and potential impact of various technologies to the AFRL and DoD complex
• Developing, leading, and participating in pilot programs of selected technology alternatives
• Experience in collaborating with stakeholders across different departments to ensure successful pilot execution and informed technology decision‑making

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 5 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 3 years’ experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 15 years relevant experience
• Active Security Clearance preferred or ability to acquire a Secret level clearance required
• Preferred work location on-site at WPAFB, hybrid work situation possible

• Basic knowledge of government IT acquisition processes including IT onboarding (ATO/RMF) processes
• Extensive knowledge of a wide range of technologies both commercial and non-commercial
• Knowledge of DoD Architectural Framework (DoDAF) and The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF) preferred
• Understanding of complex systems, integrations, and interactions with other systems
• The candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to translate technical information into business terms and present summarized information to an audience at various levels of leadership/IT expertise
