Position Summary:
The HR Specialist provides administrative and operational support for the Respite Alliance Program by managing onboarding processes, maintaining HRIS records, and ensuring accurate employee data management. This role works closely with HR leadership and program staff to support hiring, documentation, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding for Respite Alliance employees
Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system
Perform data entry and data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support employee file management and documentation tracking
Assist with processing employment changes such as status updates, transfers, and terminations
Ensure HR records are maintained in accordance with organizational policies and compliance requirements
Provide administrative support for HR processes and reporting
Collaborate with HR team members and program leadership to support staffing needs
Education & Experience Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of HR, administrative, or HRIS-related experience preferred
Experience with
HRIS systems, data entry, and employee records management
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
