Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager
Description
The Leave of Absence Specialist, Associate manages and oversees all aspects of employee leave requests, including medical, personal, and family-related absences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role provides best‑in‑class service to employees throughout their entire leave journey. The Leave of Absence Specialist, Associate helps ensure that leave procedures are executed smoothly and that employees receive the appropriate support during their time away from work.
Responsibilities- Interprets and administers leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.) as well as collective bargaining agreements.
- Responsible for analyzing and resolving leave of absence issues.
- Provides effective and responsive communication with employees and necessary internal and external partners to ensure collaborative relationships.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of leave requests and supporting documentation.
- Ability to analyze and balance leave of absence needs with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication, conflict resolution, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in navigating various technology platforms and software applications to manage leave cases and enhance operational efficiency effectively.
- Completion of specialized certification or training on leave administration is a plus.
This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
