JOB SUMMARY: The Dental Director will provide direct patient care while also serving as both a clinical and operational leader for the service line they oversee. They will work with the Senior Directors of Operations to support and improve practice operations. They will coach and support clinicians to achieve practice goals. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, fosters collaboration among clinicians and staff, and promotes practice efficiency and growth.
The Dental Director is responsible for supporting organizational goals, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. Must demonstrate leadership qualities and critical thinking through self-direction, initiative, effective interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills. Must be highly focused on customer service and possess the ability to troubleshoot multifaceted problems in a systematic manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Current workflows in the administrative and clinical areas, evaluating effectiveness and modifying activities as necessary for more efficient operations
- Template utilization, scheduling, and patient throughput
- Resource allocation
- All performance metrics including but not limited to quality, patient experience, and access

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

- DDS or DMD
