Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team in Chillicothe, Ohio. This role is open to LISWs and LPCC who are passionate about providing high-quality behavioral healthcare services to individuals with complex needs.
The Behavioral Health Therapist develops, coordinates, and delivers behavioral healthcare services that integrate behavioral and biomedical science to support prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Independently develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans within credentialed scope of practice
Serve as a lead clinician or liaison to internal and external support agencies
Coordinate client admissions, assessments, evaluations, and full treatment care cycles
Provide therapeutic interventions for acute and complex cases, including crisis intervention
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral healthcare programs
Design and modify treatment interventions based on client progress and behavioral outcomes
Monitor and evaluate treatment plan implementation and maintain required documentation for federal, state, and local compliance
Collaborate as an active member of interdisciplinary treatment teams and participate in trainings, meetings, and policy reviews
Establish and maintain professional relationships with community agencies to coordinate referrals and follow-up services
Applicants must hold one of the following active Ohio licenses:
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
