Nurse Aide in Training CNA CLASS

If you need childcare and there are openings available, Tender Times Child Development Center, our facility will reimburse 50% of the bill.

• CNA classes are offered at Vancrest of Delphos or through Vantage in Van Wert
• $14/hour paid while attending CNA classes with perfect attendance
• Hourly pay increases once placed into a full-time or part-time CNA position within the facility
• All class requirements and the state test must be successfully completed to maintain employment
• Candidates must be willing to accept a 2nd or 3rd shift position (FT or PT) after completing the program
• Applicants requesting 1st shift will be placed on a waiting list until a position becomes available

The job responsibilities of the Nurse Aide in Training includes:

• Ensuring that residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Ensuring that residents' medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care.
• Maintaining a physical environment in a clean, safe and pleasant manner.
• Ensuring that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with established care plan.
• Performing other related activities as assigned or requested.
