Groom Wanted for German Under 25 Rider Luca Collin
German Under 25 rider Luca Collin is looking for an experienced groom who can assist her in the care-taking of her high performance dressage horses.
Based with her own beautiful yard Haus Giesking in Nottuln, Germany, Collin is a medal winning European Championship youth rider who has been competing at Grand Prix level in the Under 25 division.
She has a stable with approximately 16 horses, which include her own show horses, youngsters, as well as sales horses and a few stallions. She offers a friendly and familiar work environment.
The job opening is for a home groom. Previous experience in a sport stable is a plus and experience handling stallions is required.
The candidate needs to be passionate, well organized, and showing a clear love for horses. She/she needs to be careful, rigorous and quiet with the horses. She/she needs to have experience handling stallions.
Haus Giesking – s/he will be responsible for the daily care-taking and barn duties at Haus Giesking. They include the grooming of the horses, turn‑out in the paddock, lunging of the horses, as well as tack and stable maintenance.
If the groom has some L-level riding skills, she/she can assist in the warming up and cool down work of the horses.
A full‑time position is offered with a long term contract possible. Accommodation can be provided.
