Duties The primary purpose of this position is:
As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) provides an interface between the aircraft maintenance activity and the logistics support activities which provide equipment, supplies, parts and components. DUTY 1:
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Maintenance Supply Liaison function within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring equipment support complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. DUTY 2:
Represents unit in working with supply support organizations to determine requirements and the capability of supply to support those requirements. DUTY 3:
Serves as the Maintenance Supply Liaison for assistance on issues concerning Depot Level Reparables (DLRs). DUTY 4:
Accountability of supply and equipment assets. Utilizes the GO-81 database to provide on-line access to organization, equipment, mission, and status date. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be a current member of the AF Reserve or willing/qualified to join
* Position requires the incumbent to obtain and retain a security clearance as designated by security access requirement (SAR) code

* AFSC: 2S0X1 Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Position for series 2001. SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service of which includes Knowledge of accepted supply principles, concepts and methods of one or more supply specializations. OR
EDUCATION:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirement is at least 100%.

You must submit a copy of transcripts. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE:
Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. KNOWLEDGE,

(KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods to include requisitioning, requirements, equipment management, inspection activities, demand processing, records maintenance, and customer service.
2. Knowledge of logistical functions, operations, systems, program requirements, and work methods.
3. Ability to research, compile, and analyze supply information and data; receive, screen, review, verify, and maintain supply documents.
4. Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve issues and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
