You will play a key role in representing IONITY in regulatory and political discussions, helping to shape the future of the European Mobility Ecosystem. You will be part of the Governmental Affairs Team within the Corporate Strategy department, bringing the long-term strategy to policy makers across Europe. You will be responsible for the positioning and outreach in key markets, with a focus on Western and Southern Europe (not limited to, but focusing on France, Spain, Italy), in coordination with local colleagues and the strategy team.
You will:
- Actively engage in networking both online and offline to promote the company positions and strategy.
- Analyse regulatory proposals and prepare management briefings for the organisation.
- Regularly update the organisation of policy developments in respective markets.
- Draft position papers and translate to national languages (where necessary).
- Organise meetings with policy makers and other political stakeholders.
- Represent IONITY in associations and industry-wide positioning.
- Bachelor or Masters in relevant discipline
- Proven experience in advocacy and policy work (at least 3 years work experience).
- Fluent in English and French – additional languages beneficial.
- You are a communicative person with good understanding of policy work and the law-making process.
- You enjoy writing positions and promote these positions publicly online and offline.
- Travel required across Europe (mainly Western Europe).
- Your structured, goal- and implementation-oriented way of working as well as a high level of strategic understanding come naturally to you.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and juggling different activities at the same time and exchanging ideas with different stakeholders.
- You have a high personal interest in the transition to sustainable energy and mobility.
