We're hiring a Centralized
Loan Officer to join our growing team! This position will be based in our Cuyahoga Heights, OH administration location working on Tuesday through Saturday each week.

Our ideal teammate is to assist members with their consumer lending needs; analyze loan requests and make credit decisions based on lending policy. Attain and maintain license for Residential Limited Lines Insurance and Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry on an annual basis in addition to maintaining and updates as needed.
Responsibilities- Analyzes the current financial position of members to help determine the degree of risk in extending credit or lending money.
- Makes decision to approve, disapprove, or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision. Interviews member loan applications to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings and financial conditions.
- Identifies cross-selling opportunities and cross sells services to members
- Assists members in disbursing their consumer and mortgage loans, answer questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
- Three to five years of related experience
- Education:
A high school education or GED. - Impeccable customer service skills
- Working knowledge of credit union loan products and processes
- Physical requirements include moving frequently and regularly using wrists, hands, and or fingers; speaking clearly, hearing and understanding; visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents; should be able to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
