, we’re looking for passionate Fin Ops Data Analysts capable of transforming complex cloud data into actionable insights by setting up data models to create transparency in the large amounts of cloud provider’s data,
combining technical metrics with business metrics to define KPIs, and continuously analyzing cloud spend and usage to identify optimization potential to help our clients implement a scalable and efficient Fin Ops practice
. Fin Ops bridges the gap between Dev Ops and Finance. Together with our clients, we implement the Fin Ops Framework, beginning with a central Fin Ops Team that drives engagement across the organization. Together with other stakeholders, such as Dev Ops Teams, IT Controlling, or Product Owners, we identify and implement measures to reduce cloud costs and maximize the usage of cloud resources, which enhances the business value of the cloud and measures success through various metrics.
- Collaborate on Fin Ops projects together with your colleagues to make our customers' cloud usage more efficient and sustainable.
- Analyze the client’s cloud environments to highlight optimization potential for all involved cloud services in IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.
- Create transparency using cloud-native or 3rd party tools for cost allocation or optimization potential.
- Use your communication skills to interact with various stakeholders from the platform, product, and application teams.
- Develop Fin Ops blueprints and share your knowledge with colleagues.
- Design and deliver Fin Ops trainings, give conference talks, and create blog posts.
- Drive Fin Ops topic development and innovation within Reply and the Fin Ops Foundation.
- Expand our offering with new opportunities, such as Fin Ops for sustainability or Technology Business Management.

- Successfully completed university studies in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, IT Management, or similar.
- Proficiency (min. B2) in English and German with a willingness to travel occasionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial data interpretation and insight generation.
- First experience with data analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Big Query, Power
BI, Tableau). - Experience working in agile teams and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer orientation, communication skills, and self-initiative.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) or Fin Ops Practitioner desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud cost management tools (e.g., Cloudability, infracost, kubecost) is a plus.
- Intrinsic motivation to drive sustainable and efficient cloud solutions.
- Current residence in Germany, with eligibility to work within the country.
