The Treasurer Opportunity

Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools seeks a collaborative, detail‑oriented, and student‑centered Treasurer to lead the district's financial operations and support long‑term fiscal stability. This role offers the opportunity to serve a community where relationships matter, transparency is valued, and decisions are made with students at the center. The Treasurer will serve as a key strategic partner to the Board of Education and Superintendent, providing clear financial guidance, ensuring compliance with Ohio school finance requirements, and supporting informed decision‑making.

Desired Qualifications
  • Valid Ohio School Treasurer license (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)

  • Strong knowledge of Ohio school finance laws, compliance requirements, and internal controls
  • Experience working collaboratively with boards of education and superintendents

Compensation
