The Team:
Kiavi Construction Lending is growing and we are looking to add an exceptional team player to help grow our business. The Builder Relationship Specialist will play a key role as a member of the Originations Team by providing exceptional service to on-board new Builders and their loans. The Builder Relationship Specialist will be client facing, and will have a great knowledge of the Kiavi operating system and workflow.
Using Kiavi’s industry leading technology, this person will work closely with the loan originator, underwriting and closing teams to obtain all the required documentation to approve and close a Builders loan(s) with Kiavi.
Additionally, The Builder Relationship Specialist, will maintain a relationship with the Builder, helping to grow Kiavi’s targeted wallet share, additionally, they will monitor the Builder’s financial condition and Kiavi portfolio, creating a deep understanding of the Builder’s business, financial capabilities and business strategy.
The Role:
As a Kiavi Builder Relationship Specialist you are responsible for managing, retaining and growing business relationships with deeply experienced real estate investors in targeted markets. These efforts include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the loan origination process for Builder Accounts
- Growing account production, in partnership with the Head of Originations - Construction Lending.
- Acting as point person for all borrower communications with established relationships
- Providing a white glove service experience on every loan
- Working with internal and external parties, to create a smooth process for underwriting, closing and monitoring the Builders loans.
- Delivering a seamless relationship handoff to Kiavi’s Feasibility and Fund Control team.
The Responsibilities:
- Main advisor and point of contact for Builder clients throughout the entire origination process and draw process
- Qualify a Builder’s loan to ensure a strong fit with Kiavi's Construction loan products
- Onboard new Builder clients
- Analyze loan applications, collect essential documents and obtain third party reports.
- Obtain required borrower and project documents and essential information and answer customers’ questions relating to required documents.
- Reviewing and analyzing documents against our credit policy, with the goal of obtaining an underwriting decision and closing.
- Identify potential roadblock(s) or credit policy alignment issue(s), and work with Construction Lending management to resolve and improve the issue(s).
