Overview
This role is responsible for U.S. indirect tax compliance across multiple entities, including sales and use, gross receipts, personal property taxes, and business licenses. The Senior Tax Analyst partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations and supports indirect tax leadership with compliance, audits, and process improvements.
LocationColumbus, OH (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary$70,000–$90,000
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file U.S. sales/use, gross receipts, and personal property tax returns
- Manage state and local business license compliance
- Identify exemptions, refunds, and tax savings opportunities
- Support indirect tax audits from notice through resolution
- Research state and local tax issues and advise internal stakeholders
- Assist with accruals, budgeting, and documentation of tax processes
- Provide tax analysis for new locations and business initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related preferred
- 2+ years of indirect tax experience
- Experience with sales/use and state & local taxes
- Strong Excel skills
- Multi-state or multi-entity experience is a plus
