Responsible for providing an exceptional, professional, and courteous customer experience while processing a wide variety of transactions. Accurately process transactions following established policies, procedures, and compliance. Consistently utilize knowledge of CCB products and services to identify customer solutions and refer to other team members or business partners for outreach. Candidates will be matched with a home base Banking Center closest to their residence.
Hours- Monday – Friday 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday Rotations 8:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (every other weekend, half day off throughout the week)
- Professionally and accurately process a wide variety of transactions in accordance with bank policy.
- Complete and follow up with customer requests including COA, Online/Telebanc enrollment, debit card issue or replacement, auto transfers, direct deposit requests, check orders, stop payments, etc.
- Utilize product knowledge to identify and refer customer solutions.
- Travel to offices to cover vacations and illness.
- Engage in peer-to-peer coaching and assist peers as needed to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Complete, scan, and balance teller work as required at the banking center and maintain an organized work area.
- Professionally handle customer complaints and seek appropriate resolutions.
- Participate in staff meetings by asking questions and sharing best practices and success stories.
- Complete CTRs accurately.
- Perform vault duties as needed.
- Share best practices gathered from other offices.
- Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete assigned compliance training essential to job function.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- No prior banking experience required, but preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Good computer skills and willingness to learn software updates and new packages
- Must be able to lift and move bags and trays of coin (30–60 pounds)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Working knowledge and understanding of bank products with proficiency in explaining, administering and referring customers
- Position requires travel to various banking centers including Norwalk, Milan, and Bellevue
- Must have access to transportation and possess a valid driver’s license
